Quick 8MM Calibration for X Y Z

Quick 8MM Calibration for X Y Z

This part I designed helped me calibrate my cheap printer. Slots and holes are meant for 8mm sized linear rods to fit. Although, use the entire X/Y measurement (30mm * 30mm) to set steps, then rod should fit (very) snug into hole, and rods should slide in and out of slots with minimal resistance. This part utilizes a concept of setting steps to exterior specs to get correctly rationed interior specs. If needed this part could be flipped to sit on vertical axis to set very accurate Z steps, but may need to be printed with supports. SET ALL LAYERS TO INTENDED FINISH for example: CALIBRATE - single outline, single bottom layer, single top layer. then PRINT - single outline, single bottom layer, single top layer. for example: CALIBRATE - double outline, double bottom layer, double top layer. then PRINT - double outline, double bottom layer, double top layer. Z height shouldn't be affected this way though Print Settings Printer: GeeeTech I3 Pro C Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: any Infill: 35% Notes: The rounded edges of this design prevent any jagged distorted edges from throwing off measurement. Post-Printing Size 30mm 30mm 10mm
