Quick and dirty 2D thrust vectoring prototype WIP designed in PrusaSlicer

thingiverse

An attempt at making a functional thrust vectoring mechanism for prop driven RC aircraft. No plans to share yet, sorry, as this mechanism was designed directly in PrusaSlicer! Uses 4 small 1cmX4mm ball bearings. Tests results: promising: no detrimental gyroscopic effects that the servos can't counteract, and the gizmo is strong enough to bear thrust forces and thrust vectoring moments. Worth making true plans in Fusion and then stl files. The best test possible would be to fly this thing in a 3D RC airplane.
