Quick change spool holder for designed for K8200 / 3Drag, however might fit other frame style printers as well. To change a spool, loosen one of the thumbscrews/knobs and move the pilar aside and replace the spool move the pilars together and retighten the knob. Note this design needs a spool centre; I used this one https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:360648, but any other will also work. The bottom part fits neatly on the K8200 / 3Drag frame, and positions a M5 square nut for the knob. The knob holds a M5x40 hex bolt, and a plug seals the remaining hole. The bottom part is fixed into the pilar with 2 5mm x 100mm woodscrews, but shorter ones should also work. Needed supplies: 2x M5x40mm hexbolt 2x 5mmx100mm woodscrew (shorter will most likely work as well) (I used the Hornbach brand) 2x M5 square nut for frame For spoolcentre holder mounting: 2x M6x 70mm bolts (length depends on spoolcentre holder used) 3x M6 washer 1x M6 self-locking nut Instructions Print the pilar and profile laying down. Print with at least 15-20% infill. Gently prescrew the pilar with the woodscrews, like machine tapping thread (go-stop (reverse if needed)). When inserting the M5x40mm hex bolt into the knob, check that the orientation of the head and hex cavity on insertion and on the bottom. Then pull the head into the socket, and if needed hammer it down with a screw driver. Please note: The bolt needs to be exactly into position (all the way on the bottom), to align with the M5 nut in the frame. After the setup has been checked, insert the plug into the knob hole and pressfit /hammer it in place.
