This concept uses a sliding top cover. As you close the drawer the top cover closes faster, showing the customer that there's a problem. This also solves the problem of package expanding into the next drawer. There's two key mechanisms, one is the lever that moves the cover/lid. The second is the release latch that allows the lever system to disengage and completely close. At the point when the drawer is closed half way the lid completely covers the drawer. At this point the lever no longer pushes the lid as the latch underneath engages with a bracket releasing it and lsiding back on the track. When the drawer is opened again the latch will re-engage make the lever action function again.
