Summary This is a tripod quick release plate for a SLIK SH-705E tripod head. The OpenSCAD and STL files for just the plate are available to use for other purposes, but this set of files includes a captive bolt that can spin freely inside the plate for mounting very light gadgets. The plastic threaded bolt includes a 1.75mm hole running a steel reinforcing wire through. You could affix the steel wire with epoxy or possibly by heating the wire. This is an experiment in making a strong plastic threaded attachment point. It will almost certainly break and destroy any equipment you attach to it. Have fun with it.
