Day 5 of #30DoC features a new addition to the Quick-fit family: a X carriage and mount for Printrbot. Compatible with any extruders fitting on its Quick-Fit X carriage, this design is now available on Thingiverse. Sketchup files are also uploaded. To install, replace your X carriage on the Printrbot and print two plates. A Quick-Fit catch from a previous design is required. Print a Quick-Fit Extruder, designed for use with extruders that have a Quick-Fit X carriage. The X axis mount has been redesigned to include 3 linear bearings. While it functions on the Printrbot, testing is limited, making this a work in progress.
