UPDATE1-Rival Mounts DESCRIPTION New Optional mounting parts added to suit the Nerf Rival rail, parts simply replace the picatinny rail versions. Thanks to ehdrien for the suggestion, he also has shared rail adapters to mount picatinny attachments onto Rival rails. NEW PARTS (STL) QPS-PISTOL_MNTLWR(RIVAL)_V1-0.stl QPS-PISTOL_MNTSIDE(RIVAL)_V1-0.stl QPS-Pistol Version for 3D printed Nerf blasters DESCRIPTION The QPS-Pistol Sight is an open sight designed to look a bit like a typical Red dot sight for 3D printed Nerf blaster Pistols and smaller 3D printed Nerf blasters. It is setup for Nerf blasters which have a larger amount of dart drop over distance. Useful both for teaching basic sight adjustment & also for Nerf battles. Attachment is for Picatinny rail. DESIGN NOTES This is a smaller more compact version of my original QPS design. Original QPS design is availabel here:- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4705126 The sideways movement works differently on this version with the front sight adjusting & the rear remaining fixed. 3D PRINTING NOTES Generally print out using typical PLA 0.2mm layer height, 20% infill settings, No supports. The Front sight does require supports for the M3 nut recess, however. The Body of the sight is best printed at angle on the front face (No Supports are then needed), this does benefit from a finer layer height of say 0.15mm. ASSEMBLY NOTES See Photo build guide pdf.
