Get your files, fast

Store your documents, magazines, books and printbed sheets vertically with instant access. No need to open drawers or pull out magazine files. The optional stopper keeps everything at the front of deep cabinets.

One size fits all

Modular design. Even books fit perfectly: you can space out the dividers whichever way you need in 2cm steps. Create up to 16 divisions.

Parametric design. You need more divisions? Wider gaps? Taller dividers? Use the included Fusion360 or STEP files to adjust the design to any dimensions. While the original model is a perfect fit for IKEA Kallax shelves, it can be made to fit any piece of furniture.

The vectorized divider templates are ready for you to print on 1mm card and cut by hand, or send to a lasercutter or plotter. There are 5 templates: plain, framed, and three patterns.

Instructions

Prepare one divider using one of the documents in the “divider template” folder. The clamps are designed for 1mm thick card, but anything thinner than that will also fit. It just won't be as sturdy.

Print at least two clamps with 0 top and bottom layers. The included clamp.3mf and clamp.gcode will sequentally print 12 in one go, but you may want to print just one to check how well the clamp slides into the rail. There should be a little friction.

Pry the clamps apart just enough to slide them over the divider and into the cutouts at the top.

Print at least two rails. Use 3mm screws with countersunk heads to secure the front rail to the top of the shelf. I installed mine flush with the front lip of the shelf.

Slide the front clamp into the front rail. Use the rear clamp as a reference to install the rear rail at the correct distance from the front rail.

Optionally print and install the stopper (back limiter) to determine how far back your documents can slide. This stops them from moving so far back that they would be difficult to grab.
