Quiet Non-Squeaky Filament Guide with Bowden Tubing for Ender 3

Quiet Non-Squeaky Filament Guide with Bowden Tubing for Ender 3

thingiverse

This is a quiet non-squeaky Filament Guide for the Ender 3 because we use a bit of PTFE Bowden tubing to help with guidance, making it completely quiet. You should have some extra PTFE bowden tubing around. This also means that you should be able to insert filament a lot more easily and have it pre-aligned into the extruder. No more dealing with misalignment into the guide either, and complicated prints needing bearings or other parts. No more noisy sounds due to filament guide friction and squeaking during retraction, and bad prints due to that. This one is also made universal so it doesn't matter if you hang your filament up top, on the side, or anywhere else. Just take a little bit of extra Bowden tubing, insert into this. If you'd like, you can even insert a long piece of PTFE Bowden tubing to help guide from your filament boxes. Remember, DO NOT screw in tightly on the Z-axis assemble, make it loose, otherwise, your Z-axis will get stuck. This is not my design problem, it's just the way the Z-axis screws are supposed to be.
