Quill Burst - Functional Monster Hunter Generations prop

This is my design for the Monster Hunter contest hosted by MyMiniFactory in collaboration with Raise3D and Capcom. This is my version of Quill Burst, one of the best weapons available in Monster Hunter Generations.  The videogame's weapon is approximately 2 meters long. I decided to make my own version, keeping the same shape but with a real world size. The best thing about this design is that IT'S A FUNCTIONAL PROP! I've made a video explaining how I designed, adapted it to 3D printing and assembled it. You can check it here: https://goo.gl/7TLb2E I worked on this design trying to make it as easy to print as possible, and these are some of the features: 1. No support material needed. None of the parts need support material.  2. Filament optimization. During the design process, I worked to make all the parts resistant and avoid weak points. I didn't use more than 10% infill during the printing process, just a low layer height. 3. Only 3D printed parts. You don't need to use any screws or extra parts that aren't 3D printed. This means you can scale the design to the size you want and you won't need to modify anything. The assembly process will be the same. 4. Easy assembly. If you check the video, you will see the prop can be assembled in less than 5 minutes. I only used two drops of glue and some blue tape during the assembly process. 5. It's functional! You only need to use an elastic band to make it work. In the video, I show how the prop works using a rubber band. You can even resize the model to shoot ping pong balls!
