R-9 Deep Space Shuttle

The R-9 Deep Space Shuttle is an FTL-capable long-term exploration and research craft, primarily used to study and gather samples of alien life-forms. Several hundred meters long, the shuttle is capable of transporting large quantities of live cargo, and is equipped with various surveillance devices and cloaking in order to avoid detection by primitive races with access to technologies such as radar, telescopes, photography, and/or telecommunication, as well as to monitor the sociopolitical states of primitive races by recording and analyzing what communications they do make, if any. The shuttle is built to be capable of supporting species up to roughly thirty feet in height for crew members, and could potentially hold a much larger research specimen if the need arises.
