I often carry my old Futaba 8U transmitter in a small back pack to the flying field, along a few tools and li-po battery packs. Recently, with the snow melting, I slipped and the transmitter that was on my back. This prompted me to add minimum protection to the transmitter. This protective printed part fits over my gimbals and is retained in place using a long rubber band or velcro leash. Since various transmitters have different spacing between the gimbals, I included the CAD file as well so you can adjust the part to your own transmitter. Enjoy!
