Camphor is a chiral natural product that is abundant in certain species of tree, eg. camphor laurel, and in certain herbs, including the leaves of rosemary plants. Naturally-occuring camphor, (R)-camphor, has the stereochemistry shown in this model. There are actually two chiral centres - both are of the (R) configuration.
