After few months with an ACME leadscrew and his standard nut, I have a lot of backlash in Z. These POM nut are cheap (1.44€) and you can set the backlash to zero. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1Pcs-Openbuilds-8mm-Acme-Anti-Backlash-nut-block-POM-PEFT-filled-Delrin-Moving-distance-2-4/32816893083.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.1.50e41879R4uDJ3&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_2_10152_10151_10065_10344_10068_10342_10343_10340_10341_10084_10083_10618_10305_10304_10307_10306_10302_10313_10059_10184_10534_100031_10103_10627_10626_10624_10623_10622_10621_10620,searchweb201603_2,ppcSwitch_3&algo_expid=e4eb7c00-a184-4dd5-9a8b-614a5f7078dd-0&algo_pvid=e4eb7c00-a184-4dd5-9a8b-614a5f7078dd&transAbTest=ae803_3&priceBeautifyAB=0 Choose lead 2mm (if your ACME is 2mm of course) You need 2xM5 bolt, 2xM5x25mm screw (hex head) and 1xM5x15mm(or 20mm) screw (hex head). Put the setting screw below!! I didn't use it a lot, but it seems to work (and with 0 backlash ;=) ). Additional informations: buy a 250mm ACME lead screw with 2mm lead (4-5€ from China). Cut it to 222mm. In your firmware: 3200 steps per unit for a 32 microsteps driver, or 1600 steps per unit for a 16 microsteps driver.
