I was looking for a simple R2 D2 model that I could just slice and print, and was disappointed I was unable to find one. I remixed this from the closest model I could find (see the "Remixed from" section), with the following changes:

Stronger connections to the feet, which were otherwise prone to breaking when removing from the print bed.
Connect the legs to the body as a single piece, where before there was a gap. This part isn't 100% movie accurate, but will make for better prints.
Fill in the body. The model was hollow before, but I've found slicers do better when you just give them a solid piece work from.
Add some of the detail missing from the front of body.
Scaled the model up to 150mm as the default size, so more detail is visible by default.
No, you can't pose the print: the legs don't pivot and you can't remove/retract the center foot. You're also limited to a size that fits on your printer bed. But you can load this model straight into your slicer, and get a print back that doesn't require assembly or gluing.

I do recommend a raft and supports when printing this model. Because of the top dome, it will look better the finer you can set the layer heights, as with any rounded top surface.

Dimensions:
W: 104.14mm
D: 93.36mm
H: 150mm

Made with MS 3D Builder and Autodesk Meshmixer.
