Designed this when the cap on top of the stock knob broke. Meant to be used with this adapter: https://blackforestindustries.com/collections/mini-shift-knobs/products/copy-of-bfi-gs-manual-shift-knob-adapter-bmw-mini-revised-clamp-style It is important that you print this in PETG or ASA. PLA is not suitable and will likely deform/melt if left in a hot vehicle. The version with the cavity in the center is so that weight may be added during the printing process. Add a pause on the last layer before the ceiling of the cavity is added. Then, place your desired weight inside. I used sand. It adds a bit of weight but is still pretty light. There is 0.2mm of offset on the threads so that the knobs can actually be screwed onto the adapter. If it is still too tight to fit when printed with your printer, you may be able to add a bit of extra clearance by increasing the print size by a percent or two.
