As I am an ambitioned racing bicycle user, I tend to drive long distances to get from one point to another. I listen to music and sometimes I need Google Maps to find my destination. The problem wes, sometimes, my pockets were to small for my not even really big phone, so I wanted to challenge myself with this project. I figured out, for almost all racing bikes, the middle of the handle bar, right at the shaft, you can find 3 potential spots to mount a bracket that can give a safe fix to a phone holder. I took measurements and went ahead to design the thing. I gave it an angle of 4 degrees so gravity works for me and the phone wont slip out unintentionally. I left spares for audio jack, charge port and all the buttons so it could actually stay inside the housing during traveltime. I printed it out just to see I got lucky enough that all my measurements were correct and it works flawlessly. In addition to the CAD and the 3d-Printing, I installed an Application on the phone that works as a bike-computer, informing me about speed and all other important values.
