So I've been using the Rachio 2 for a few years and its great, but now it is time to move it to the outside of the home. I procured the Rachio Outdoor Enclosure (link below) to do just that. I have an electrical receptacle right next to where I'm mounting the enclosure, so I needed to plug the hole they set aside for electricity. As for the second hole, it is where my controller wire and the power adapter will both fit in. I designed a plug that allowed for my 7 strand sprinkler control wire (about 6mm wide) along with the power wire (about 2mm wide). For durability and ease of printing, I used ACME threads. With the smallest dab of silicone sealer, this box is practically air tight. Update 4/2/20: Widened the aperture of the wire hole a bit to accommodate some variation in power plug size. Let me know if you need it widened even more! Enjoy!
