This is a rack and pinion mechanism with 3 interchangeable gears. It is designed for use with a continuous servo motor (or a hand crank) and will create an up and down motion. These are 3D-printed versions identical in size and shape to the gears output by the FoldMecha program, free educational software that is part of the <A HREF="http://www.papermech.net/">Paper Mechatronics</A> project, a collaborative effort between The Concord Consortium, University of Colorado, Boulder, and Georgia Tech. Paper Mechatronics is funded by the National Science Foundation, <A HREF="https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=1735836&HistoricalAwards=false">Award #1735836</A>, Program IIS-Div. of Information and Intelligent Systems.
