Radcliffe Camera
thingiverse
Radcliffe Camera, a masterpiece crafted by James Gibbs in the 18th Century, proudly stands as one of Oxford University's most recognizable landmarks, situated south of the historic Old Bodleian. As the entrance to Europe's oldest libraries, housing over 12 million books and one of six UK legal deposit libraries, it's awe-inspiring to contemplate the vast knowledge stored within this stunning round dome. As an Oxford University student, I've consistently overlooked utilizing the library during my academic journey (perhaps I should make a change). However, each time I pass by Radcliffe Camera, catching glimpses of students intensely studying through the windows while fueling their marathon sessions with red bulls, I'm struck by their unwavering dedication to knowledge. Throughout history, Radcliffe Camera has fostered and empowered numerous world leaders and academic legends. Having a 3D printed model on my desk serves as a poignant reminder that we're not only building upon the achievements of giants but through relentless effort, we can potentially shape the future's trajectory. Updates: - v1.2 - Corrected the alignment of pins on the third floor
