Print with the most overcooked spaghetti consistency TPU you have/can. As you're most likely printing the [BMG + V6 + ABL Direct Drive Extruder](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4441537) mount it's fair to assume you can print the noodle-est of TPU filaments. Mounting a damper on the screw head side of a fan will not change the geometry of the fan duct, but mounting one between the fan and the carrier plate will. Not sure how it effects airflow though. Reason for printing - one of my radial fan has shot bearings and it will take forever for the new on to arrive. Adding these dampers significantly reduced the amount of noise and vibration ringing through the entire frame. The TPU helps dampen some vibrations, but it also (and probably more importantly) pushes back the radial fan so it's not in direct surface contact with the carrier plate which in turn is in direct surface contact with the main body of the mount. The part is simple, 3.2mm ID with three 0.4 perimeters. I mean honestly it took way longer to render the images than to actually CAD this. I don't even know why I'm uploading a circle to thingiverse ...
