Designed this rail system to mount a Red Dot / Reflex Sight in a more rearward position on the Cybergun FAMAS F1 while retaining use of the factory iron sights. This adapter replaces the rear flip-up Grenade Sight on the F1. To install it, simply remove the 2 screws holding the flip-up sight and re-use them to install this unit. Test-fit the adapter before screwing it down! The sides of this unit have 0.5mm protrusions that stabilize the adapter against the inside of the FAMAS' carry handle; if the adapter feels to tight, file these down slightly and re-check. If your printer / bed is running a little hot make sure to clean up any droop over the bottom holes before install to ensure the adapter seats flush in the carry handle. Recommended printing w/ layer height 0.1mm, 1.2mm thick walls, 45% infill. If you have the ability to test this on other makes/models of the FAMAS, please let us know if it works!
