This is heavy road track on wooden ties. The track plates are attached to the rails and ties with 9/16 inch 5 inches long spikes. To reduce effort in building I made an assembly of a single spike and rotated it 180 degrees to use on the other side of each rail. Two of the spikes on that side in the first tie which is fixed in space were simply rotated and positioned and don't use this method of rotation.
