A vent cap to prevent insects from getting into your rain barrels while still letting air in/out. 1/2" BSP female thread for attaching to commonly sold male part (refer photo). I couldn't find a design online for a vent cap, so I designed one! It came out so well that I thought I'd upload it to Thingiverse. I printed it using ASA filament which is strong and UV resistant. ASA generally seems to warp but I tweaked the design of the part until there is no noticeable warping at all on my printer (Prusa i3). Doesn't need any supports. Easy to print! You could also use ABS but I believe that's not as resistant to UV, but it should print OK too. Lastly you could use PETG or even PLA but it may not last very long outdoors.
