I wanted this design to be a easy on and off using the 3 thumb screws already there and the filament top guide. No intrusion to the print heads or fans. The Depth gauge will simply bolt in on one side or the other of the Y-Axis and be adjustable height. Design allows for a 1/4-20 nut and bolt to fasten the gauge. Super simple. Find a bolt that fits your gauge hole. The problem with most of the Depth gauge brackets I have seen is you have to disassemble the machine to make them work by removing fans or other components. In my design it is just 3 thumb screws of the front plate. You don't even have to take the filament out. Keep it simple and easy in and out makes for a good design.
