Raise3D N2 heat shield and fan mount

This is a combination heat shield and fan mount for the Raise3D N2/N2 Plus. This version only works with the V2 head. This is a remix of the excellent front fan mount by Sylus:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2102446 I got tired of having to remove my insulation wrappers around the hotends every time I wanted to change nozzles, so I designed this heat shield. It effectively blocks the hotend heat from affecting your prints, while also providing a fan. To change nozzles without any disassembly, just use my modified hotend tool: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2183719. Heat your hotends to 140, insert the tool from behind the hotends and unscrew the nozzle. No more disassembly needed! Just remember to unload your old filament completely before removing the old nozzle. You want to ensure the isolation tube is completely clean before changing nozzles. To print, use polycarbonate or other high temperature filament using .25 layer height. I used 25% infill to reduce weight. I positioned the model with the back of the shield (not the bottom) touching the base. This prevented the slicer from putting support material inside the fan air channel. After printing, I used 1" kapton tape and covered both sides of the shield with 3-4 layers, then cut out the nozzle holes and air vent. The kapton is really only needed on the inside, but having it on both sides helps prevent filament from sticking to the hotends. The fan I used is the same as the one Sylus used in his original design here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2102446 I got it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015S5XFJE/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.25 Notes: Print in polycarbonate (I used PC Max)
