The notch does not interfere with the lock on my 2015 Ram. You will need to Print 2 sets per side to use all the slots. There are two files. The one labeled ender 3 have the top clipped to fit in the 250mm height. They still fit the truck great. They will need to be rotated to fit on the bed at an angle but mine printed with no support and no skirt. With 15% triangle infill they feel plenty strong enough. I used eSun PLA plus so we'll see how they do in the desert summer. I can't foresee how these would cause damage or injury but use at your own risk.
