The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium (Spanish: Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán) is a football stadium in Seville, Spain. It is the home stadium of Sevilla Fútbol Club. It was the venue for the 1986 European Cup Final between Steaua București and Barcelona and the 1982 World Cup semi-final game between Germany and France. Built in 1957 and originally an all-stand stadium for 70,000 spectators, its capacity was reduced to the current 42,714 when it was refurbished and transformed to a all-seated venue in order to host matches of the 1982 FIFA World Cup.
