Ramper Clamper

Ramper Clamper

An odd idea I came up with. I'm sure somebody could figure out a use for it. Ramper because it has little ramps (wedges) in it, and clamper because with bolts in the right places, it'd certainly clamp on to the right size round object(s). As far as how I picture it working? Bolt the upper and lower pairs of outer sleeves snugly together first. Then slide them over the inner sleeves. Then use long bolts to connect two pair sets of outer sleeves over the inner sleeves. Loosen up the long bolts to allow slack. Then two poles or structure tubes could be clamped end-to-end. Push the outer sleeve pairs towards each other to start clamping onto the tubes, and then snug up the long bolts and tighten to really clamp down. Haven't tested this, so this is just a conceptual thing for now. May add a few more parts to this thing based upon the same idea later.
