Random convex polygons

thingiverse

This is a demonstration of the OpenSCAD code for generating random polygons as shown at http://kitwallace.tumblr.com/post/176388478009/random-polygons. Randomness has its own issues: The customiser refreshes the solid every time a parameter changes, which is acceptable, but it also updates on every move of the viewpoint, allowing you to see alternative shapes if a bit confusingly. However, it also regenerates when saving, so you cannot select a shape and save that exact same shape. Also, be aware that for certain settings of the parameters, the script fails due to excessive recursion. Definitely still a work in progress.
