Random Pattern Stencil
thingiverse
Airbrush Stencils Create a Dynamic Spray Pattern. Those stencils are specifically designed to add visual interest to scale models using the black basing technique. The black basing technique offers an easy way to create a less monotonous and more captivating surface finish on scale models. Here is my recommended workflow: - Prime the model with a coat of black primer for a solid foundation. - Use white paint to highlight individual panels, maintenance hatches, and covers to add contrast. - Apply stencils to cover the whole model with a unique, random pattern using an airbrush. - Add black preshading to the panel lines to create depth and dimension. - Blend everything together by applying a thin layer of white paint. - Spray multiple thin layers of primary colors until achieving the desired effect.
