Ranma ½ is a humorous manga and anime by Rumiko Takahashi which is about a boy named Ranma Saotome, who suffers a peculiar curse since he fell into a cursed pond during a martial arts training in China. Since that day, when he gets wet with cold water he turns into an attractive red-haired girl, and when he comes into contact with hot water he returns to his original state as a boy.
