This mount fits just aft of the cluster weld at the firewall between the 5/8" tubes that go through the instrument panel. The antenna slides into the dovetail cut and a zip tie around the cord locks it in place. The mount snaps into place and a zip tie through the long holes at the front keeps it from shifting. The GPS antenna will still receive signal through the fiberglass boot cowl between the windshield and firewall. It will not work if there is sheet metal or carbon fiber between the antenna and sky.
