"Raptor" Jet Glider

This is an original reverse engineered working glider that flies like no other! Based on the famous F22 Raptor, this original work is submitted for your enjoyment (with a borrowed cockpit from the Stratos Glider). This glider can be printed at various sizes and flown indoors or outdoors with equal thrills. Glider is easily launched by a rubber band, and will outperform with different tricks depending on how you launch it. No wait, no glue, these gliders can print in less than an hour and snap together in second for quick play time and maximum fun. Extruded from raw jpeg images of real F22, this replica captures the magic of the real thing, this glider maintains level flight even upside down! Launched at full speed at a high angle will result in stunts and barrel rolls, but then this work of art will glide gently back to earth and land gracefully every time! Indoors it can fly short distances and makes for great dogfights! This is truly an amazing example of aerodynamic properties. This model was designed to print just as it is shown in the stl file, there is no need for adjustments, this will print and fly in less than an hour (rubber band not included). How I Designed This Reverse Engineered Extruded from raw jpeg images of F22, this design was inspired by the Raptor F22 Jet with a desire to print and fly with no prep. Other 3D printed gliders do not fly that well at certain sizes, or are too fragile to really play with, but the nature of the F22 provides stability at all scales. Different scales have different characteristics at higher speeds, but all result in smooth landings...its like magic. This design was balanced for the best performance at various speeds, more weight in the front makes for long range high speed flight (we use a little clay), while less weight stalls too soon, so this is in the middle.
