**What is this?** This is a design for a Raspberry 2/3 terminal intended to be used as a sim racing HUD for software such as SimHub. It's based on the 5 inch LCD screen from Adafruit and a Kippah Hat LCD driver board. If you have a 5" WaveShare HDMI based LCD checkout my other design for that panel here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5017761 **Setting it up** Here's a video guide I made setting it all up: https://youtu.be/t4BZ7oyTGXA **Why did I make it?** I wanted to use my old Raspberry Pi 2 and an old 5 inch LCD panel as a sim racing dashboard showing vehicle and race telemetry. **Features:** * I've included all my original source files in fusion360 format * I've included all individual parts in STL format * Low profile self-contained little terminal using a full sized Rapsberry Pi 2 or 3 board **Considerations:** * Installing the Pi board into it's half-case is a little tricky and requires a little maneuvering and patience but possible * This design doesn't support heatsinks on the SOC so not an ideal case if you intend to overclock your Pi board. * As this was my first attempt at a design with screw posts, you'll need to be careful when screwing it all together * I don't have exact screw sizes unfortunately since I used some spares I had **Printing:** Printed with PLA at 0.2mm for the first 3 layers and 0.3mm for the rest. I found that it was easier to print it in 3 parts and glue the Pi case to the back LCD cover. This isn't ideal and didn't give it a seamless look but it did the job. I fixed this issue in my Modular Pi Terminal I made here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5017761 **Links:** If you're looking for other designs or DIY projects similar to this one I invite you to head over to my YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/c/SuperEvenSteven Regards, SuperEvenSteven
