Raspberry Pi 2 or B+ slimline clip case
thingiverse
This case is crafted from precise laser cuts of 3mm acrylic, meticulously designed to bring a sleek modern touch to any setup. The casing is a streamlined version of its predecessor, B+, boasting an impressive 4mm reduction in size while maintaining razor-sharp tolerances. The cutting-edge design has been skillfully executed, yet it encounters unexpected obstacles due to the protective plastic coating's minute impact on slot dimensions, requiring utmost attention. Acrylic as thin as 1/8th inch falls woefully short of this complex layout. For assembling this intricate setup, 10mm long M2.5 nylon bolts with nylon spacers have been meticulously paired under the board for enhanced stability and protection against electrical stress. The cutting process consists of three distinct layers: - Layer 0 (Black): The core structure of the casing - Layer 1 (Red): Connector slots are cut into precision profiles to allow seamless access - Layer 2 (Yellow): Finishing touches in form of customized text are intricately layered. The design, though beautifully intricate and crafted with precision by myself, harbors its challenges; particularly, gaining access to the microSD card slot necessitates a level of finesse. For those keen on experimenting with this marvel, be warned: This design comes without warranty - success or failure is yours to navigate!
