Raspberry PI 3 B+ Battery Powered Camera Box
thingiverse
I designed a custom Raspberry PI 3 case that precisely fits and protects a high-quality 8MP PI Cam and integrates seamlessly with a UPS equipped with a rechargeable battery pack. Following setup, the PI remained operational for an impressive 5 hours solely powered by a PIjuice hat and a robust 1820mAh Lipo battery, expertly integrated into the design. This innovative project captures high-resolution photos at precise 10-minute intervals and transmits them directly to a designated photo gateway collector. Version 2 features a slightly taller enclosure and incorporates an LTE module, enabling images to be transmitted via cellular network rather than Wi-Fi. I used affordable Chinese PLA filament sourced from eBay to print the case, which demonstrates excellent quality and effectively meets its intended purpose. The PIjuice hat is available at core-electronics.com.au/pijuice-hat.html.
