Raspberry Pi 3 b case for mounting to v-slot
thingiverse
I required a Pi 3b case that could be mounted directly onto the frame of my D-Bot robot arm. I came across WalterW's design and thought it looked great, so I modified it by adding a V-Slot mount on one side. The top part remains unchanged from the original version and is included simply for reference. To keep everything neat and organized, the bottom of the case needs to be attached to the frame before installing the Pi. Since I had to order screws anyway, obtaining M2.5x16 was not a big issue. However, the mount requires M3x8s, which should be readily available if you're building a D-Bot robot arm and already have a large collection of them on hand.
