I Use Octoprint for my 3D-printer and my rasberry pi gets quite hot. I tried using a standard 30 mm fan that is ment to go with rasberry Pi but it was simply to loud and an enoying high-pitch sound so i made a new case with a 80 mm fan instead. Note, make sure to use a 5 volt fan (lika a computer cooling fan) which is compatible with rasberry Pi´s voltage output.
