That RPi 3 base and lid are exactly as per the original case in the remix (using the netfabb bottom with 75mm mounting holes. The NAS HDD Enclosure bolt on should be printed with supports that come out easily. My setup: - I run a RPi3 B+ with Raspbian and a mounted WD Elements 4tb external HDD. The HDD case in here has wall mounting holes so get a short ethernet and put next to router. - The mounted HDD I setup as a NAS using Samba. - On the Pi I installed Plex and gave plex access rights to the NAS. - I have a 4tb drive on my main PC, and I mirror this with the NAS with automatic sync using FreeFileSync and RealTimeSync. This makes a great little wall mounted media server setup that can just be left on. I also plant to try and add pihole to the same pi to get as much real-estate out of it as possible.
