Raspberry Pi 4 Case & Stands w/Official PoE Support

thingiverse

This is a customizer-modified version of ["Malolo's screw-less / snap fit customizable Raspberry Pi 4 Case & Stands"](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3723561) with the sole purpose of adding support for the Raspberry Pi Foundation's Official PoE HAT. If you are not using the [Official PoE HAT](https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/poe-hat/) then use Malolo's case because there's no physical difference. For more info, see [Malolo's case](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3723561) page. **Important**: The only thing changed from Malolo's case is the _Customizer.zip_, so nothing else will be different. # Updates ## 2021-05-24 TMP post as an FYI Raspberry Pi Foundation announced "Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT" which will be sold along side, and eventually replace the "Raspberry Pi PoE HAT". I will be getting one of these and will change the "Official PoE Support" checkbox to a dropdown of "None, PoE, PoE+" so the new PoE+ HAT, which has a different layout to the PoE HAT, can be generated. Now just to wait for them to come in stock. ## 2020-09-09 Realized that the top case style "Hexagons - Two Materials" didn't actually have a supported color2 variant (if you want to do multi-color prints, you print color1 + color2). Fixed now, so you'd check off the same options on Case_Top_Color1 and Case_Top_Color2 and you'll get the correct models out. ## 2020-08-19 After talking with some devs, it was pointed out that the original source files were not all manifold, and the underlying libraries used by OpenSCAD were erroring with that. Fixed the problematic geometry and all is working again. ## 2020-08-05 Uploaded modified case _Customizer.zip_ that supports PoE and the ability to modify the screw posts. **Note**: there is a presumed bug in 2020.08.02.ci5674 (git bed95e77) Windows (non-Windows untested) where the following Top Styles fail due to some program error: - Hexagons - Multi Material - Slots - Single Material Trying to get this issue resolved. Until then, it's marked as "Work in Progress"
