Raspberry Pi 4 - SSD & Pi Mount

Raspberry Pi Foundation released [new firmware for the Raspberry Pi 4 that enables USB Boot](https://tynick.com/blog/05-22-2020/raspberry-pi-4-boot-from-usb/). This allows us to boot directly from a SSD, increasing speed and performance by a large magnitude. This mount was created specifically for mounting a Raspberry Pi 4 to the SSD itself and later to be slotted into a server rack (coming in Version 2.0) ###Additional Required Materials - A solid state disk - USB to SATA 3 Adapter [(I used these specifically. Non referral)](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073SXTY64) - 4x Raspberry Pi Standoff Screws [(The smaller the better)](https://www.amazon.com/Connectors-Assorted-Standoff-Raspberry-Single/dp/B086R8B942/) - 4x 2.5mm Screws to mount the Raspberry Pi. - 4x 3mm Screws to mount the SSD. ### Recommended Materials - Raspberry Pi 4 PoE HAT [(again, this is what I use, non referral)](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0833PP65P/) ### Mount Orientation The Raspberry Pi can be mounted with the SSD Mount either facing up, or facing down. Either way works in **THIS** version. (That will change in the future should I add support for a Rack Mount via slides) The design in the SSD Mount has no function other than the following two things: - 1) It helps reduce print time by removing material - 2) I personally thought the design looked cool! Feel free to remix it however you please or make it solid, your choice. Shame-less plug: You can check out my Twitch Stream at https://www.twitch.tv/3dprinting247 feel free to stop by and say hi!
