Raspberry Pi 4B + 3.5" Touchscreen Case for 3D Printers

thingiverse

A Raspberry Pi 4B case designed to accommodate a generic 3.5" touchscreen (one of these http://www.lcdwiki.com/3.5inch_RPi_Display). Its stand mounts to v-slot aluminum extrusions with t-nuts. To make the case rest in the stand use cap head M3 screws on the bottom to fit into the recesses on the corners of the stand. It has a separate fan duct designed to mount a 40mm fan to cool the pi (I used a 12v Noctua fan). Also has a slot to store a stylus for the resistive touch screen. I designed it for my Sovol SV01 but I imagine it would work just fine with most 3D printers. The case is 3 separate parts and can be printed standalone. They are all joined together with M3 screws cutting the threads straight into the plastic. I imagine heat set threaded inserts would work well with this design also. It is overbuilt so it will probably be strong with fairly low infill. I purposefully left lots of wiggle room just to make my life easier, but the upside is it may also work with other similar form factor SBC's like Orange Pi or Libre Le Potato. No promises though, your milage may vary. Show less...
