Raspberry Pi Camera Case

Raspberry Pi Camera Case

I recently got the RPi camera I ordered on ebay and since I was still waiting for my Pi to come I decide to draw this quick little box to protect the camera from damage. I wanted a small but tight and durable case that holds the camera in securly and at the same time allows the focus to be adjusted. The idea is to print this out, insert the camera onto the little pegs as far as it will go, making sure the lens is centered in the holde and than just heating up an M3 bolt and melting the pegs towards the PCB to hold everything snug. The case its self is very snug so I am not sure if its a necessary thing to do but I like it. With a bit of epoxy this could be made into a waterproof case too. I recommend printing with a 0.4 or lower nozzle and a layer height of 0.1 to make sure it will fit. Enjoy ;) EDIT 30. 5. 2019: -I added the .step file if anyone wants to modify this for themselves.
