This is a snap-fit housing for Raspberry Pi Camera (rev 1.3) integrating 5mm LEDs. It is meant to be a smiling face - if you get the first layer setup properly.

All the cases available rely on the use of screws for closing the case. So I made one requiring only one M3x10 screw for tilting.

Printed all at once with 0.1 mm resolution. Supports are required for ‘back’ part only. I used 2 mm brim, but it should work without if you have proper bed adhesion.

I designed this from scratch, however I picked up some of the ideas from others. Credit goes to arcmatt and rcmaniac25:

Standoffs for camera PCB https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1594008

Snap-fit parameters from awesome rPi case https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4562627

I used 2x white LEDs for lighting along with one 100R resistor each which results in ~20 mA forward current. I cut a USB charging cable and connected it to the LEDs. The USB cable can directly be plugged into the octopi. To allow the use of different cables, I didn't include the cable cutout in the design. You should manually make it with a Dremel or scalpel/knife.

The mount supports standard tripod screws:

Camera mount for Prusa MK3S https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3828249

¼" Screw https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:578514

The snap-fit is pretty tight, but works well on my Prusa MK3S with PLA. Feel free to lower your extrusion multiplier in case it is too tight. It should allow opening with spudger/opening tools, but needs gentle force. Take care of the ribbon cable!
