I recently acquired my Raspberry Pi and 3.2 inch touchscreen, and I took steps to safeguard them. To ensure a secure fit for both components, I created this custom design specifically tailored to their dimensions. If you decide to utilize this design, I recommend considering two key factors during assembly. First, when installing the Base model, carefully position the board so that it slides under the small "shelf steps" - this will make it easier to insert the Raspberry Pi board initially without the screen attached and then secure the screen in place afterwards. Next, when attaching the screen, ensure it rests on the slender shelf printed along the top of the Base model on one side. When installing the cover, take care to avoid over-tightening screws at the end; if you do use them, make sure they're not too long, as this may cause damage to the touchscreen plug by piercing through it.
