Rpi Case - 1202HP I (needlessly) wanted a tower cooler for my raspberry pi. So…. This is a Raspberry pi case to allow mounting of copper tower cooler (2x heat pipe) and 120mm fan. With a 3B+ running octoprint, under load it struggles to get to 40°C. Fan is frankly there for show. There is room for mounting other items in the case. The one pictured has stepdown converters from a laptop PSU giving a convenient to 12v and 5v. Items required: Pi3B+ or equivalent Connectland Chipset Heatsink Model – 1504002 (Mounts designed specifically for this heatsink) Thermal Pads or paste 120mm fan 4x PC fan screws 4x 4mm x for the feet(s) 27/07/19 - Added a pic showing temps achieved. Room temp ~28C. The drop is when the Printer psu fan kicks in. The rest of the time there's little to no airflow through the heatsink (needs forced air ideally). Note/Observation It may be worth adding a thin copper shim between the processor and heatsink, This will allow a little more room between base of heatsink and board and allow a little more airflow around other components.
