Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 I/O Board Mount

Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 I/O Board Mount

thingiverse

I ordered a Raspberry Pi Compute Module with an I/O board for a project that I'm working on and didn't realize until I received it that it didn't include any sort of mount or case. No problem! I designed this so that I could safely keep the board on a table and still have access to all of the GPIO pins and other connectors. The board is screwed onto the raft using 6mm long M3-.5 screws. The screw posts are long enough that these screws can hold the board firmly in place and wide enough that the screws can be easily tightened down even when the mount is printed with PLA. Two STL files are included: one that is the same size as the I/O board with squared off edges and one that slightly overhangs the board and has rounded edges. You may want to try the latter if you're having difficulty getting the normal STL file to adhere to your print surface.
