Raspberry Pi housing for camera

Raspberry Pi housing for camera

thingiverse

A housing for the Raspberry Pi Model B board with space to mount the camera board including a camera hole. The camera is screwed into the top part of the housing with 4 M2 screws. These can be screwed directly into the holes, no tapping required. The two halfes of the housing are screwed together with 2 M3 screws, these are also screwed directly into the holes. I made this housing to be screwed to our acrylic housing on the replicator, that is why the holes go all the way through the hosuing. I used the RPi CAD file from RS and a CAD file of the camera board I found on the web. I've included the step file of the housing so you can modify it to your needs. UPDATE 14.11.13: I've added a version of the bottom half with air cracks in it, in case you are worried the RPi will get to hot. Instructions I printed this on a Replicator 1 Dual in Makerware with the standard PLA profile and no support
