<p>An elegant NAS/Server with support for 3.5 inch drive and active cooling with a fan. It works wonder as a backup server, for example for TimeMachine or ZFS replication.</p> <p>If you want to use ZFS remember to use the 64 bit version of Raspberry Pi OS</p> <h3>Illustration</h3> <h3>Extra info</h3> <p>The case is for the Raspberry Pi 2/3/4 and it's divided into 3 compartment. The center one is for a 3.5 inch HDD, one is for the Pi and another one can fit a 2.5 inch drive or any usb device that can fit in. For example a 2.5 Gbps usb adapter or a RTL-SDR</p> <p>There's 17mm of clearance for a SATA extension or two 90° adapter and you will need a powered USB - SATA adapter (Obviously).</p> <p>I suggest using a round fan like the 90mm AMD Ryzen stock cooler fan (VARIANT A) it looks cool and it's more space efficient</p> <p>Another version (VARIANT B) is available, I haven't tested it yet but it should work and any square 80mm fan</p> <p>I tested the AMD fan and it works with the 5V provided by the Pi's GPIO</p> <p>You can use an USB extender if you want connect some other USB peripherals (Obviously)</p> Category: Computer
